effort to benefit the community by participating in various committees. All currently active
committees are listed on this web page.
Architectural Review & Covenants Committee
The Architectural Review & Covenants Committee (ARC) meets on the fourth
Monday of each month to review Architectural Improvement Requests received from homeowners.
Homeowners are welcome to attend meetings, which are typically held at the residence of one
of the ARC members. The specific address will be posted each month on the

Architectural Recommendations Committee
This committee was tasked to review architectural guidelines for similar
communities and to provide the Board of Directors with recommendations for changes and
enhancements to the architectural guidelines for the Belle Terra community. This
committee, having served its task and delivered a completely rewritten Architectural
Guidlines document to the Board of Directors, is not currently operational.

Community Improvement Committee
The Community Improvement Committee has been empowered by the Board of
Directors to develop a comprehensive plan for the enhancement of the community. The
long-term goal of the plan will be both to beautify the community and to add
significant amenities. Topics to be addressed include improving community entrances,
landscaping for common areas, community trails and other potential projects. The committee
also expects to prepare a proposal to request grant money from government agencies for
trails for the community. This committee was established in April 2006 at the
Belle Terra Annual Meeting.

Developer Compliance Committee
This committee maintains communication with developers and builders to
ensure that commitments are met and that homeowners are notified of key developments and
issues.

Neighborhood Watch and Safety Committee
This committee initiates activities related to Loudoun County's
Neighborhood Watch program. Members work to raise awareness of safety issues and to
encourage community behaviors that deter crime.

Web Committee
The Web Committee is responsible for ensuring that Belle Terra residents
receive timely and accurate community information. Feel free to email information about events,
community developments or suggestions to anybody on the committee. The Web Committee is also
responsible for the creation and distribution of the Belle, the newsletter for the Belle Terra
community.

Volunteers Needed: The Web Committee is looking for a few volunteers
with experience in producing content for web sites and newsletters. One major role that is
currently open is for somebody to be the Newsletter Editor.
