Welcome to the Belle Terra community!
Belle Terra is a community of luxury single-family homes located within the
booming high-tech corridor of Northern Virginia. Within Belle Terra, nature and community have
been perfectly blended to set the tone for fine living. Our community offers a natural environment
of rolling hills, old-growth forest and small lakes, yet still offers convenient access to shopping,
major highways, parks and Dulles Airport. Our community is also only a mile from the future
location of the Dulles Metro Station.
Belle Terra consists of four distinct neighborhoods:
The Park is a neighborhood of 110 luxury estate homes with lot sizes starting at the half-acre mark. |

The Lakes is a
secluded neighborhood of 66 luxury estate homes on half-acre-plus home sites. |

| ARC Standards Update: The Board of Directors voted to update the community ARC Standards to address issues of common area maintenance and community improvements. The board is actively soliciting proposals for improvements to the community, including changes to common areas. The board has also indicated that it will, for the first time, allow home owners to make volunteer changes to common areas, such as by planting trees or shrubs, subject to the prior approval of the board. | | September 5, 2008 | | | | Board Meeting Schedule Changed: The Board of Directors voted to move board meetings from the fourth Thursday of the month to the third Thursday of each month. This will avoid the usual annual conflict with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The next board meeting will be held on September 18th at the Keener residence, located at 22256 Val Varaita Drive in the Lakes. | | September 4, 2008 | | | | August 2008 Board Meeting: The next board meeting, scheduled for August 28th, will be held at the Keener residence, which is located at 22256 Val Varaita Drive (in the Lakes). Normally, meetings are held at the Legacy Elementary School, but that venue is not available during the summer months because the school is closed. | FIOS Is Here!: FIOS, the high-speed Internet service from Verizon, is now available in our community. Check out the Verizon site online, or look for Verizon correspondence in your mailboxes. There are a variety of FIOS packages and options. Depending on the package chosen, members of our community can get high-speed Internet access, phone service and television service. And it's cheaper, faster and (reportedly) more reliable than the Internet services provided by Comcast. | | October 5, 2008 | | | | Landscaping Project Meeting: The Belle Terra HOA is interested in lining up more landscaping projects to help enhance our community. There will be a meeting to discuss potential landscaping projects on Sunday, August 24th, at the Keener residence in the Lakes. The residence is located at 22256 Val Varaita Drive. Current projects under discussion include the "Street Trees for the Lakes" initiative, as well as aeration for the three small ponds/lakes in our community. The ultimate goal will be to come up with a well-defined list of projects for consideration and prioritization by the HOA board. | | August 20, 2008 | | | | Entrance Construction Completed: Construction on the Lakes entrance to Croson Lane and both Quail Pond entrances has now been completed. Landscaping has also been installed, and all of the entrances are looking quite nice. Signs for the entrances, i.e. - with text such as "The Lakes of Belle Terra", are currently out for bid. Upon acceptance of a suitable bid, we will be adding signage to the entrances as well. | | June 12, 2008 |
